IOWater has been appointed to animate the Europe Region Preparatory Process

Information about the European Regional Process - Concept Note
A first European regional process Steering Committee meeting was held on 21 December 2010, in Brussels (Belgium). Its main objectives were to share information on the background and processes of preparation of the 6th World Water Forum, to identify a preliminary set of topics for “regional specificities”, to undertake the designation of ad hoc working groups and to forecast a framework of activities to be carried out under the regional process until the Forum in Marseille. 3e Rencontres Internationales Eau et Cinéma (RIEC)
Plus de 150 films, en provenance de 40 pays, réalisés autant par des professionnels du cinéma, que des acteurs des enjeux de l’eau, des représentants de la société civile, des jeunes et des amateurs, seront en compétition. 17 Prix en argent, d’une valeur totale de 26 700 $US, seront remis aux lauréats dans 5 catégories.
